NIAAA STATE AWARD OF MERIT |
This award is given to athletic administrators in recognition of outstanding leadership and meritorious achievement in interscholastic athletics administration with special consideration given to impact at the NIAAA level. This is the only NIAAA award chosen solely by states.
In 2020 the HIADA Board of Directors voted to initiate a rotation for leagues to have the option of selecting a winner. Leagues may choose to defer their selection on a given year and select the following year, with the rotation resuming thereafter.
